Dallas Home Loans steals from employees, gives to Church of Scientology?

Having interviewed several former Loan Officers for the company, it was learned that Dallas Home Loans, and its owner, David Melrose, seem to have systematically stolen monies from employees by enacting policies that allow David Melrose to fire Loan Officers prior to payout for closed loans.

Typically, Loan Officers are paid in the weeks following a loan closing and funding. However, many employees have reported that they were released by the company at the end of a given month, when most loans close. Melrose allegedly allowed the loan officers to shepherd their loans across the Closing finish line, but fired the Loan Officers prior to the loans actually Funding, thereby keeping thousands and thousands of dollars, which, apparently, he could then allegedly divert to the Church of Scientology.

Run by a Scientologist

The company's owner, David Melrose, is a Scientologist who runs the company in strict accordance to the "religion"'s guidelines. He has admitted to making LARGE contributions to the Church of Scientology, direct from company funds. In fact, near the end of 2008, Dallas Home Loans lost access to credit due to the large cash contributions that were made from the Dallas Home Loans bank accounts to the Church of Sceintology.
